Photography & videography

Welcome. I'm excited to talk about your idea.

Four questions about the pictures already in your head — what's in frame, how it should feel, what belongs in it, and why it matters to you. Three minutes, and it's what I build the treatment from.

A portrait made upside down against a stone ledge, pink hair spilling toward the ground.
Selected work

What do you want to feature in this shoot?

Pick the one that's closest. We can complicate it later.

Choosing advances

What kind of photography are you drawn to?

Pick up to three. Most ideas live across two or three of these, and the order you choose them in tells me which one leads.

What energy do you want to capture?

Pick three. These set the tone of the whole shoot — light, wardrobe, direction. The order you choose them in tells me which one leads.

What elements do you like?

Up to six. Objects, places, textures — whatever pulls at you, whether or not you can explain why.

Is there a story you want to tell?

A memory you want to honor, a version of yourself you want to show or explore, a kind of shoot you've been wanting to try. Write as much or as little as you like — this is the part I read most closely.

Where should I send the treatment?

I read every one of these myself, so this goes to a person, not a list. Email or Instagram — whichever one you actually check.

Received

Thank you — this is plenty to work with.

You'll hear back within two working days with a treatment sketch, a couple of location ideas, and open dates. Here's what you told me:
